Item: Raft
Crafting: 3 planks + 1 shovel
It is faster than a boat but is hard to control and it breaks when it hits a block. It only supports one passenger. It is basically the pre-1.9 boat.

Attach leads to boats to pull other boats behind them
Place chests in boats (this one is an old idea and it almost got added in the biome vote but we got goats instead)
Place banners in boats as sails

These are found on the water. They spawn as a boat with two illagers, pulling a boat with a chest in it. The chest contains the same loot as illager outpost chests.

Idea: potion of magic resistance.
Resists 20% of all magic damage on level 1, and 45% on level two. brewed with awkward potion and nautilus shells.
Useful for fighting the ender dragon, also prevents dragons breath slowing you down.

New custom world settings
These are things that should be in the custom world settings:
Ocean Liquid: Currently, “overworld” generation has water seas while “caves” generation has lava seas. This toggle would let either have either.
Biome Size: I'm surprised this isn't already a thing. Currently there is a “large biomes” toggle, but you can't have small biomes (like in the xbox 360 edition), somewhat large biomes or absolutely massive biomes.
New dimension types:
Floating Islands 2: floating islands at various altitudes
Hollows: Pockets of air inside a stone world
Weird: Generates like the far lands
Skygrid: You know what this one does

Large multi-room dungeons filled with enemies. These mobs often wear armor and weapons and do not burn in the sun. Seven of them will be made dungeon captains, giving them greater strength. One of them becomes a dungeon boss, which gives it greater strength and making it 50% larger. Dungeon captains each drop one dungeon shard, while the dungeon boss drops two dungeon shards.
Dungeon Shards
There are nine per dungeon, and if all of them are put in a crafting table grid, they craft into a rare item that depends on the dungeon. Shards from different dungeons do not mix.

There are two types of these: dungeon captain banners are dropped by dungeon captains, while dungeon boss banners are dropped by dungeon bosses. They are mainly trophy items.

Spike piston - a new type of piston. It has spikes on its head (the wooden side) that hurt players and mobs stepping on it. Blocks on top of it automatically break. It cannot break blocks that are unbreakable or require an iron pickaxe or higher. It can extend like a piston and can push blocks it cannot break as long as a normal piston can push them. It can also break armor stands, minecarts and boats.

Like, something in the world gen settings could say “if you light a portal made of X with Y in dimension A, it will link to dimension B”.
