Basically, I just think that the thread is not as useful as the search bar when looking for projects. The only real useful section is the review section. So, I'm going to try a new system and see how well it goes! For now I've left the original thread untouched below.

What does a member do?
You are here to keep the thread running! Unlike other collaborative threads, you are not “staff”, and are such you cannot be “fired” for not doing anything. Everything you do and don't do gains you points! But if you let your points drop below zero, you will not be able to submit any more projects! Your only option will be to look for errors, write reviews, and try to stay on each week until your points rise again!
I want to become a member!
Woo! Simply post a comment below saying that you want to join, and I'll add you to the database.

If you're asking people outside of the thread, than it's their choice, not ours. I'll update the Write A Review page. So, if you see a project that you really want to review, ask the person if you can review their project!

Game Name
“DESCRIPTION”
Game Design /10
“”On this line talk about addictiveness, and whether the game design wanted to keep you playing as well as how much you enjoyed how fun it was. If it is a platformer which uses unique levels such as using unique traps or items to collect then if this made the game for fun to play, it would count. If it didn't, then it would still come under Originality.
Originality /10
“”On this line talk about whether the idea is original. Just because you've never heard of something like it does not make it original, as when you look into it the game could be pretty much a copy of many other games. Also, a platformer may not sound different, but if it has special characters and the levels have unique obstacles which do not appear often then why not give them extra points for turning an old idea into something fresh? So sometimes a game maybe an old idea that's been made fresh or a new idea that was inspired from other games.
Ease Of Use /5
“”On this line talk about the usefulness (or lack of) tutorials, as well as controls and hand comfort during games. Did you have to stay in a weird position to play the game? Was it a simple mouse OR keyboard game, or were your hands crossed over trying to reach for both at the same time?
Difficulty Balance /5
“”On this line talk about whether it was too hard, too easy, or if there were options to change the difficulty. Remember, even if there are options does not mean it gets a perfect score. An easy option may still be too hard and complicated and the expert option may still be easy. Also, if there's only two options and there is a huge leap between the two, perhaps a middle one would be an improvement to offer. If a game has been designed well enough, it should not need any options at all. If it is hard to work out how to use the game, the Ease of Use score may affect this score as well, so keep that in mind.
Graphics /5
“”On this line talk about how good it looks and how smooth or still the animations were. Detail is key for a lot of games, but some games look better with simplicity too. Sometimes a game with too much on screen looks a mess, so don't just presume that lots of on screen stuff means that it's very detailed.
Sound /5
“”On this line talk about whether the music was good, too repetitive or even non-existent. Also, if the game has sound effects than does it have enough? Are each of good quality? Sometimes a game maybe better with silence for the most part, then certain points in the game may have sudden music to add emphasis onto a certain moment.
Firing Round /10 (This is the addition of the following scores)
Reliability /2
0 (Very Glitchy) 1 (A few glitches) 2 (Hardly any glitches)
Game Length /2
0 (Too Short) 1 (Decent Length) 2 (Long lasting or endless)
Game Pace /2
0 (Very slow or too long for it's own sake) 1 (Quite engrossing) 2 (Very well paced and fun)
Replay Value /2
0 (Would never replay/ did not want to finish it the first time) 1 (Might replay) 2 (Too good to stop!)
Programming /2
0 (Simple to make) 1 (Fairly advanced) 2 (It was very complex)
Overall Experience /50
“”On this line talk about general points, and perhaps repeat the most important points from before. This is about how you enjoyed it overall, rather than a bonus points section. Usually rewards for extra features come under Originality. Talk about your emotions, and ask yourself “Did the horror game make me feel scared?” “Did the action game make me feel excited?” “Did I feel well rewarded once I completed that building game?”
TOTAL: /100
Key
0-19 I could have made that in my sleep!
20-39 Needs a lot of work.
40-59 An average project I suppose.
60-79 Quite a cool project.
80-94 Wow! It only needs a bit of tweaking.
95-100 You're the top cat!

Specification For OS & Programs
Project Name
“DESCRIPTION”
OS Design /10
“”On this line talk about the style, and whether the design wanted to keep you using it. Don't necessarily talk about the graphics though, as that is for later. Perhaps talk about what the purpose was of this OS. If it's another fake computer with a calculator, notepad, and a pong game, maybe the creator needs to try and make it useful. Is there anything you can do on this OS that can't be done on another scratch OS?
Originality /10
“”On this line talk about whether the idea is original. Fair enough if some parts of the OS is copied from other OS', but has the creator added any unique twists? Things like cool transitions, specialised apps, and even mini games that haven't been done before.
Ease Of Use /10
“”On this line talk about the usefulness (or lack of) instructions, as well as controls and hand comfort during this. Did you have to stay in a weird position to use this? Was it a simple mouse OR keyboard project, or were your hands crossed over trying to reach for both at the same time?

Sometimes a project maybe better with silence for the most part, then certain points in the game may have sudden music to add emphasis onto a certain moment. Did you hear a noise when you received a notification for example? If so, was it an appropriate noise?
Firing Round /10 (This is the addition of the following scores)
Reliability /2
0 (Very Glitchy) 1 (A few glitches) 2 (Hardly any glitches)
Variety /2
0 (Little to do) 1 (Decent amount) 2 (Lots of things to do)
Lag /2
0 (Very slow) 1 (Decent in most places) 2 (No lag)
Replay Value /2
0 (Would never reuse/ did not want to finish it the first time) 1 (Might reuse) 2 (Too good to stop!)
Programming /2
0 (Simple to make) 1 (Fairly advanced) 2 (It was very complex)

Usually rewards for extra features come under Originality. Talk about your emotions, and ask yourself “Did I feel rewarded for using that app?” For an OS or program, refer back to the purpose of it again.

#Credit to jh1234l for the art mark scheme
Project name
“DESCRIPTION”
Art Design /10
“”Were the designs good? Good colour choice? Does this contain many interesting things to look at?
Originality /10
“”Was this project original? Did it feature a special idea, or did the project contain things that is in almost every other project? Please note that just because it is a line art of a cat does not make it unoriginal. Did the project creator express an unoriginal idea in an original and unique way?
Innovation /10
“”Did the project creator do anything special when conveying this project? Does the project use something that other similar projects don't have, like pen rendering for the pictures or scripts that allow the art to change dynamically? Does it contain any aspects that you can learn from when you make an art project?
Sound choice /5
“”Does the art project have fitting music? For example, a light, bouncy soundtrack would be good for a piece of art that is a line art of fluffy kittens, but it will not be good for a creepy Halloween-themed drawing. If there are scripts to make the art do things and animate, does that make good sound effects?
Message/theme /10
“”Does the art convey a message or have a single theme to it, or is it a bunch of random sprites? For example, creating a drawing with pencils and a backpack has a theme- school, but a bunch of scribbles (that is not made in a way to make it abstract art) does not have a theme. A drawing about bullying conveys a message and has a theme, but a picture of a basketball and a upside-down apple does not have a message or a theme. The art project should either have a theme or a message, or even better, both.
Firing round: /5
Technical Quality /2
0 (jagged lines, signs of resizing) 1 (decent quality) 2 (excellent quality)
Clutter and simplicity /2
0 (too simple or too cluttered) 1 (decent) 2 (just right for the project, not too simple or too cluttered)
Reuse value /1
0 (not good enough to reuse in a project) 1 (good enough to reuse in a project)
Overall experience /50
“”This is your own personal, emotional response. How did it make you feel? Did any messages from the art make you want to do anything? For example, a drawing of a car may have been so good it inspired you to make a racing game, it doesn't necessarily have to be something moral based such as saving the planet.
TOTAL: /100
Key
0-19 Can improve almost most aspects.
20-39 Can improve many aspects.
40-59 An average art piece.
60-79 Quite a cool art piece.
80-94 Wow! It only needs a bit of editing.
95-100 You're the top cat!
