Dream Your Design!

DyD Is an art remixing project based off of themes. First you pick which theme you want to do, and then you remix it and add your own name and art.

As long as you remixed the original project, DyD will be notified, and your project will be added to the DyD studio. Your design can be vector or bitmap, or even a scanned in cropped image. Just follow the theme and the website's guidelines and you will be added to The DyD gallery. Follow the studios and support to help spread creativity and art across Scratch!

Hi I would like to join. I just want to say when Borrego6165 wrote about games (Ease of Use, Originality, etc) there was a spelling mistake. You put on Length 2- Descent (going down) Length when I assume you meant decent!Thanks!

Game Design 5/10
I can give this reasonable score, I did want to keep playing it a while, and it is the type of gameplay that can get you hyped up. However, there was little variance, so I can't give you a whole lot here.

Originality 2/10
Unfortunately, it's extremely unoriginal. The whole zombie thing has been overdone in my opinion (worldwide, not just you), and there are several other similar games to your on Scratch. Jonzo's Robot Invasion game is one example.

Ease of Use 1/5
This gets its one point from being a simple game. That's pretty much it. There was no real tutorial as far as anything else goes, and figuring out how to shoot was a pain. I tried clicking, but I figured a bullet sprite would come out and kill everything in its path. When that didn't happen, I was confused. I figured it out by looking in the scripts, which I had to do anyway, because you broke the character select. The character select script is looking for the message1 broadcast, it's getting the choose broadcast.

Difficulty Balance 2/5
It's not incredibly difficult, or it's way too difficult. Depends on where the zombies spawn at the beginning of the game. If they spawn next to you, it's impossible, if they're far away, it's too easy.

Graphics 1/5
I think we both know why this score is a 1. You said it yourself, you only spent an hour on it…

Sound 3/5
The music you chose was good, but it lacked sound effects, hence the score here.

I can't really say I enjoyed this. I know it sounds harsh, but I had to fix things before I could use them on your game, and dig through your scripts to figure out how to use the game. The gameplay itself wasn't addicting enough to compensate for that, so I had to give you a ten.

TOTAL: 25/100

1) There are two review templates, one for OS and another for Games. This only affected the games.
2) This spelling mistake is on EVERY game review! lol
