PMD music gives me big Waterflame vibes.
Or should I say Waterflame gives me big PMD vibes?

Edit: specifically his earlier stuff from before 2010, and some newer things from around 2017, especially Skyworld. I really hear a resemblance between Theme of Skyworld and Sky Tower, and not because of the titles.
Although I get Mother 4 vibes from some tunes, too…
Edit edit: I once said that the PMD tunes that everyone finds sad aren't really sad, it's just that the scenes associated with them are sad. But after listening to Run Away for the first time in ages, and never having played the game, I take that back.
