I know the Sword and Shield hype has died down quite a bit, but I'd like to ask: have you guys thought about the music in the rest of the Direct, that plays while Masuda and Ohmori are talking? There's two songs, and they both sound like overworld themes. What strikes me is that they have the same kind of instrumentation-that-fits-the-region thing going on as the Alola cities did, and that the second one sounds a lot like Slateport City in the beginning. I don't think the resemblance means anything; Slateport sounds a little like Goldenrod, too, and Sandgem sounds like Ecruteak. But the metallic, bustling sound of it leads me to think it's probably the theme of that big city/PokéLondon.

If there are no songs in Sword and Shield with bagpipes I will be salty because it would be such a missed opportunity

Do you have the Veilstone badge?
If you do, you also need to chase a certain Team Galactic grunt to Lake Valor (I think that’s the one closest to Pastoria)
