The Official List of Rejected Suggestions
Wait a second, wait a second, this is all turning into gossip at this point. Let's keep the topic on track, here. I'm going to remove any posts that gossip about other Scratchers.
it's not a gossip!

@Za-Chary, any idea about what happened to this suggestion? It seems like it was closed due to blockspam.

2.1 Adding users to work on projectsAlso, don't suggest things on this topic you but you can ask if somethings rejected.
This would be difficult to moderate not only due to technological limitations, but also because it could lead to private messaging; for more information, see #7.1 on this list. This suggestion includes live editing (similar to Google Docs) and other forms of private collaboration. If you would like to work on a project with another Scratcher, you can remix each others' projects.
The Scratch Team is interested in making some form of collaboration on Scratch. However, until the problems regarding moderation issues are addressed, this suggestion will likely not be implemented anytime soon. One potential solution is a turn-based collaboration system for shared projects, which is NOT rejected; you can discuss it on this topic.

I remember in the 1.0 editor there were sprites that came with some scripts in them to help people get inspiration for their projects (if I recall correctly one of them was an ant and it had a script that makes them jitter around.)
They were a pretty cool feature.
The discussion about the project generator things reminded me of them.

I don't know, sorry. That predates me joining the Scratch Team — and evidently it wasn't a feature that a lot of us missed. Was it removed due to it being buggy or something?I remember in the 1.0 editor there were sprites that came with some scripts in them to help people get inspiration for their projects (if I recall correctly one of them was an ant and it had a script that makes them jitter around.)I remember that as well — but I think I also remember them not working for me.

Maybe it was replaced by the backpack?

I wonder if the Scratch developers have been or ever will be interested in re-adding this… Probably not though.

(Because like you said, “evidently it wasn't a feature that a lot of us missed.”)

Hi! In the one about adding new ranks, it says the only ranks are new scratcher, scratcher and scratch team. What about teacher accounts . I have also seen somebody called forum moderator.

1. That wasn't really a suggestion, more of a statement.Hi! In the one about adding new ranks, it says the only ranks are new scratcher, scratcher and scratch team. What about teacher accounts . I have also seen somebody called forum moderator. Please do not suggest it here. Please make a new topic.
2. In response to the OP, you are right about that, but teacher accounts rarely actually use Scratch other than to teach it to their students. Also, it basically counts as ‘Scratcher’. A forum moderator is a type of job you can get in the ST.

I found a bunch of duplicates for it, but most of them are old. Is this worth adding to the list, @Za-Chary*? I'm not sure.

Same thing happened to me.Additionally, Chrome stops me from getting there saying that site is not safe. This is not something I am willing to include because I do not support the ability to see who unfollowed you.8.9 Notification when someone unfollows you
This sort of feature could create a lot of drama within the Scratch community. Those who are concerned about follower count may get angry at another user for unfollowing them. The Scratch Team believes that users should be able to follow or unfollow anyone they want without feeling guilty about it, especially as their interests change. Remember that Scratch is not about the number of followers; it's about having fun!
Maybe you could include the website created by @JuegoStrower about checking your unfollowers?

I'm getting more and more convinced to add it to the list by the second… it could be a good idea — and would give me an excuse to update some other things on the list.I think you should add here “Bring Back the Forever If block” because Paddle2See* rejected ithttps://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/317508/

I'll probably add it — precisely because it was suggested a few times and it is apparently rejected for a reason that a lot of us hadn't considered before. Unless there are any strong feelings against me adding it?

One more: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/247322/
This was in Help With Scripts, but it seems more like a suggestion.
