I got a response in 30 minutes. You should make sure your application is still pending (by accessing it) and make sure you didn't make any typos with your name.

Once when I was rejected, it took about an hour. Another time, it took almost a full 24 hours.

It really depends on who's on the requests log. If someone is on at the time, you're probably going to get a response within an hour. If nobody is on, then you might not get a response for a couple days.

Almost always within a day or two. I don't see any account requests under your username though.

We're thinking about having certain articles have voice recordings. We're looking someone who might be able to cover the speaking. I've already submitted something. I don't have any opinion on who does it, as long as they are clear and they have a wiki account to put in the recording. Of course, there aren't really any “”“ qualifications”“” , I don't think.

I'm not sure this idea is going to get very far unless we hear an opinion from someone other than me and @p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- anyway. I think it's cool that others like the idea, but I am interested in hearing from other wiki contributors.

Submitting a request doesn't immediately get you an account. The request then has to be accepted.
