the forums a better place for sure." - Paddle2See
+++ Welcome! +++
Welcome to The Forum Helpers! We are a group of people who help around on the forums, answering questions and helping users! We don't "police" the forums, but only help around! This is a place where we chat about stuff related to the forums. If you have questions about the forums, please leave us a note! Please scroll down for more information!
+++ Application Process +++
If you would like to join and were not invited, please fill out the form below.
Feel free to use more than one comment to fill out a form. We would like to get to see actual reflections on certain questions. Limit one long answer response to one comment please.
You need a minimum of 100 posts to apply.
PLEASE: DO NOT copy-paste your old application if you are applying again. Your application didn't help you the first time - why would it help you the second time?
--- Form Instructions---
Although we do encourage thorough responses, please do not post excessive comments to answer the questions.
Additionally, DO NOT copy the questions to save space.
Please answer the following questions below.
1. What is your username?
2. On a scale of 1-10, how often are you active? Please note a single number.
3. Why would you like to join TFH? Please explain in a few sentences - details like qualifications, real life experience, and how you take initiative of a situation can help you increase your chances of joining.
4. On which forum(s) are you the most active on? Please do not list more than two different forums.
5. What is your current post count? (You can find what your exact post count is here: <https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/search/?action=show_user&show_as=posts>)
6. Find a post you made that you consider to be the most constructive and link it here. Contextualization is optional.
7. Give us a link to the last post you made on the forums.
8. Did another forum helper recommend you to join? If so, please reference them now. IF NOT: do not answer this question. =]
Once you submit an application,
three of the Studio Managers will look at your application and grade it out of 10 points. The scores will be added together. You must get at least 24 to join. If you don't get the number, you may reapply in a week!
After you have joined, please post your bio that you would like in the bio project, like the current users have. Then, keep doing what you are doing!
Want to be a manager? Scroll down to find out how! It will all be based on your activity and quality of posts.
+++ Manager Board +++
Please leave a comment in the manager studio (https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/4210258/comments/) with the grade and the applicant's username! (Easy-to-work-with decimals are OK.) If you go to the manager studio and you see (username) complete, then please do not post the score.
If you are manager, please don't change the thumbnail or description unless given permission by 2 other managers.

+++ Promotion Info +++
To be promoted...
◘ Please don't ask to be promoted!
◘ Three managers must agree that you should be promoted. (Note: Managers do not have to confer with the owner.) Just confer with 2 other managers.
◘ You must be very active on the forums and in this studio.
NOTE: If you get invited and then get promoted without 3 managers' permission you may be removed and then invited again (in other words - you would be demoted).
+++ Other Info +++
◘ This was formed on 5 January 2017 for the Scratch 2.0 Forums.
◘ Times are in Eastern Time.
+++ Important Notices +++
--- From your managers ---
*We've revamped the form to fill out! If you are registering, take a closer look at the formatting differences. Otherwise, all questions are the same.
Good luck signing up!

*If you happen to apply again, please don't copy-paste your old application. Make an effort to not self-plagiarise your old applications (yes, that's a thing that you will get in trouble for in school). If your application was not approved the first time, putting the same thing won't improve your results.
