Since DS games aren't produced anymore, it's gonna be in the 15-150 dollar range, depending the quality and place you're buying it from. I'd suggest trying to get it for the 15-20 range, or less if you can. That's how much I paid for the mobile version.
There's– other ways to play the game. If you know what I mean. But if you want to obtain it properly, I'd suggest getting it for mobile. It's just easier to get your hands on.

I found a listing on ebay for 18 dollars but it looked super sketchy, and the rest were out of my budget. I'll probably just wait for it to be released on Steam. please capcom i beg

…it's a mainline Ace Attorney game in HD. On mobile. Some games on Android/iOS cost more than that.
So you're either better off playing it one way or waiting for the AJ Trilogy to come out, if the mobile game isn't your favorite option and cartridge ain't the best price. Even then, the AJ Trilogy will probably be 30-40 dollars when it does come out.

To say the least, c.ai's AIs are trained like that… It's a blessing (for some) and a curse (for some).
What I can give to the AIs is that the characters do feel accurate most of the time.

Update on the Ace Attorney ai chatbots: I talked with Trucy, asked her who her adoptive parent was, first she said Misty Fey, then when I asked her again, she said it was Zak and Thalassa Gramarye. But earlier she said that Zak's daughter was Pearl? I think she's confused.

Edit: also Apollo told me his dad was Kristoph Gavin
