Blocks Orientation : Horizontal Blocks!

The ST would need to design a lot of the non-ScratchJr features that Scratch has for horizontal blocks, like reporters, blocks with multiple inputs, if blocks and more.
(BTW, neither support or no support, just noting this.)

This would not blend well with really long operator chains (or even relatively short ones). I say it's best that the order of blocks is given a separate axis from operators. It's good as an introduction to the simple concept of programming, but as someone gets more advanced, it would become a nightmare to organize anything in a big project.
i agree. some blocks just look like this:
{
}::control
and, How would you make a C block with lots of inputs???

Please look at the img in the OP before posting
There is mockup for loops which is the forever loop. If you have reporters and booleans to code then use vertical or the Scratch Team will figure it out if they implement it
the mockup on the wiki is just a blank loop..
they could have at least put a symbol.
The default horizontal blocks in the scratch-blocks repo have forever loops that look like this:

Also, for reference, here's every horizontal block that's included with scratch-blocks:

You know what? I'm changing to support. Although this would completely disorganise the Coding Area, this would be togglable, so you can choose between horizontal and vertical blocks.

This has the same problem that switching styles from 3.0 to 2.0 does; it is confusing from an educational point of view. As the Official List Of Rejected Suggestions says below:

I assume they know that it is optional, and their point still stands when horizontal blocks are optional - it's basically a completely different Code tab layout.

Na, its too complex for large code strings and I like to read what the block is. Besides, I am used to the default blocks.

It could be toggled, meaning you could choose between the good ol' vertical blocks, and the kinda useful but kinda frustrating horizontal blocks.

No support, how would we even make some of the blocks? Also some people could get confused on what the blocks mean.

This is toggleable. If you don't know what they mean, use regular blocks.

I know. But some new scratchers may just be confused when they toggle it on. I guess it'll look nice. But I'm just wondering, how the boolean blocks would work.

Basically what you said. It's if they turn it on. They will most likely turn it off after turning it on because it looks weird.

If toggled, will they change their positions? If no, things could get really messy, which kinda defats the “organized” part.

I think they did, how else would they know that this is rejected? This would be a different layout, you can't say anything against that, and it would be pretty confusing too.
