This is bad for not only us but them. most of the community of scratch is artists, roleplayers, and other creators that scratch doesnt want, so not only does it affect us, but if scratch doesnt want us here then their saying goodbye to more than half of scratchers. not cool

You're right, honestly. While many people getting together is more likely to inspire change than just one, it's kind of childish (*says childish on a children's programming site*) to call it a full-on war. Plus, you raise a valid point in that the ST, though we didn't ask for it and it generally created more harm than good, really did work hard on all the new updates. For that, I applaud them. While I don't exactly like many of the new functions and some of the new aesthetics, I can tell that a huge amount of effort was put into them, mainly in the cool new backgrounds and vector sprites.

Yeah, I agree. At least they put some effort into it. But maybe they shoulda asked first and seen how we liked it.

well yes, but for people like me who use studios to invite people for rp's its really difficult but I do think thats a good idea for the time being ^^

Roleplay can be done on profiles, it's just harder than you think.
I've seen it done before. They're called no-context rps. /hj
A GOOD roleplay on the other hand is usually done in a studio or a project. The most popular are studios.
Sometimes a roleplay can be SET UP in the forums, but it's getting rarer by the day. Even then, you can't roleplay in the forums, you still need a studio.

Agree in the fullest. The most straightforward and NICEST way to do this would be to contact the ST, not spread hate.

Not to be a party pooper or anything, but past events have shown that that's NOT going to be happening any time soon. The ST, as has been said several times over, really just doesn't care about its userbase unless a baby orangutan makes a ball-bouncing project. Not only that, but in the ST's defense, they put months, possibly years of effort into 3.0. Shame it went to waste, sort of, but that's life.

TL;DR don't expect the people who run this place to undo all of their work because their userbase threw a tantrum. No offense to anyone, of course, but I'm not holding back because “scratch is kid website so be nice and happy!!!” anymore.

i don't like this update at all. the layout is okay, but i hate the fact that you cant edit it if you aren't the studio creator???? me and my friends have a manager chat in a studio we own and now we can't use it because of this. and the fact that you have to invite people by username. imagine you want to invite all your followers. that'd be really painful to do. this update is awful and i'd like it reverted or at least improved to where certain managers can edit too.
