This screenshot shown on Minecraft Live shows a mountain about 70 blocks higher than the forest below, so its Y coordinate is certainly higher than 128 which is the current limit on Bedrock Edition. Does this mean we might get better terrain generation in general?

Yeah, I'm also expecting a general change in terrain generation, similar to the terrain changes made in 1.7.

I feel like 1.9 is right up there as well - there were 59 snapshots released for 1.9 and development went on for nearly a year. In terms of it's feature set, it turned the End from the boss fight arena into a fully featured dimension, added elytras and introduced the modern combat system.

according to the wiki somewhere, 1.16 is the biggest released update
as well as 1.9, 1.8 was a big one

yeah dude can we just go back to beta 1.7 sprinting and hunger made the game feel modded and it's been a downhill sprial since lol
