Generally the one component in a prebuilt computer that is bad is the power supply. They put cheap power supplies in those when the power supply is the most important component of the computer (in terms of keeping it safe from damage and breaking). If a power supply fails, it can blow at times and cause fatal damage to parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWaam4abATs

Brands to stay away from are Chinese brands for instance. It's best to stick with Seasonic, XFX, some EVGA units, and Superflower. There are other good ones, but many brands such as CoolerMaster make very low quality units. There is one brand called “Great Wall Power Supplies” and someone on another site made a joke that during the battle at the Great Wall of China, they catapulted these power supplies at the enemies because they would blow up.
I use antec
Antec is actually a good brand, many of their power supplies I'm pretty sure are made by Seasonic. Seasonic makes XFX power supplies, and the higher quality EVGA ones. Superflower is rather unknown but makes incredible power supplies under other brand names, too.
Ok. I just got it because it was on sale on everyone's fav store, frys.
I only have Microcenter near me.
I have frys, microcenter, and tiger direct, but I have only been to frys
Tiger Direct has a brick and mortar store? News to me. I'm near two microcenters, which are really fun to go to. I've bought a few of my components there (at least the prosessor/mobo)
Yup. It literally says “TigerDirect.com” on the sign.

By dream PC, do you mean one that is actually realistic to build, with a realistic price, or a a $10,000+ PC?

Mine is: One that works well. Best answer here.

The above post was likely clear sass. 10 outta 10.
Unless it wasn't. Which happens from time to time. Sadly.

I would use Arch Linux (yay), but if I had to use Wandoze, then I would use Windows 2000 64-bit because it's better than 16/32-bit.

Welp, good luck being able to afford to pay your electricity bill. Also good luck being able to cool it so it doesn't explode when you turn it on.

While I am satisfied with my current build, I'd do the following if possible:

- Swap out the graphics card for just about anything that's better than the RX 560
- Give it another 8 GB of RAM
- More storage (because I am a data hoarder)

That's pretty easy to build - just buy a 1TB hard drive but only use 90% of it, buy 5 sticks of 4 GB of RAM (make sure you have a motherboard that supports that many slots) and the “newest graphics card” (which idk what that is probably the rx 5700 but I don't pay enough attention to tech news)
and also increase the speed of light so the amount of time it takes for data to travel gets lower so you get less ping

Realistically: for the time being, swap out my GT 740 with a GTX 970 or close to equivalent card so it stops bottlenecking the FX-8350 that I just had sitting around.

Dream: Something with one of the new Ryzens and a beefy AMD or nVidia card to go with it (Team Blue is a bunch of clowns RN and it would be nice if they had some real competition). But by the time I have the cash to make this come true, both of those will be obsolete.

here you go:
Corsair Vengeance 24 GB (6 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($119.99 US)
Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($169.99 US)
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB Video Card ($399.99 US)

assuming you have a job that makes $500 US a month (i tried finding the minimum wage of turkey but it was hard) that's just over a month wasted

Keep in mind that it's obviously not a full computer since it's lacking several important parts and I made this post quite quickly. If I were to create a full computer build list around something like the graphics card I would've put more care into the components and research though
