Yes, I think that it would be great for more people no matter what disabilities they have to be able to use Scratch! I think we could make things on the scratch website easier to see, such as brighter colors and larger text. There should also be a zoom in option so that people can zoom in on a portion of the website if they can't see it.

Hi!I would like to be a scratch member
I’m a member of the Scratch Team, and over the next two years, I’ll be working on a project to make Scratch more accessible to Scratchers with low-vision or blindness.
Before I start designing and building, I want to hear about your experience with Scratch and how you think Scratch accessibility can be improved–especially if you have blindness or low-vision. Your stories, thoughts, and feedback will guide the project and make sure that I’m making changes that improve Scratcher experiences, so please share on this forum!

Why, what's wrong with it?
I've since moved on from Scratch, and now I'm making games in the Godot Engine, music in LMMS, art in Photoshop, and other various things that aren't involving this website anymore. Thanks to Scratch for getting me interested in this stuff!
