Welcome to the brand new Bugs and Glitches Library! I moved to another account, so I decided to archive the old one. Make sure to come over here before reporting a bug to make sure it's not already known! We have had a recent makeover, so feel free to check out the changes!

Adding Topics
To add a topic, all you need to do is fill in one of the following forms:

Follow this guide to find the topic you're looking for!

Searching the Library
To search the library, I suggest using the Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F, depending on your system) feature and typing in your keywords. The same menu can be accessed with Ctrl+G (or Cmd+G).
To make searching for topics easier, they are color coded. Here's the key:

My thumbnails won't show up
If you recently saved your project, which automatically changes the thumbnail, due to server traffic (explained above), it can take a few minutes or even hours for the changes to take place. You can fix this by doing a hard refresh with the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R.

My project won't save/load
This can be caused by:
·Slow internet connection - download it
·A large file exceeding the file limit (10MB) - Delete or compress the file
·Switching accounts in a seperate tab - Open a new tab and switch back
·Having “\b” anywhere in your project, as it messes up the JavaScript engine.

The Scratch editor doesn't work on Internet Explorer
Microsoft discontinued Internet Explorer after the release of IE11. This means many programs, including Scratch, dropped support for it.
Luckily, they replaced it with a new “Edge” browser, so you can use Scratch on it, as well as Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari.
This issue also affects Kindle's experimental browser and the original Android Browser.

*project id* has corrupted sounds
If a project has corrupted sounds, it was likely a project created before 2013, when projects had raw data.
Converting that raw data returned some sort of error, turning the sounds static.

I can't use cloud variables
This is most likely to occur if you're still a New Scratcher, as the filterbot doesn't trust them with cloud variables.

ScratchX doesn't work
ScratchX has been discontinued due to being Flash-based. On December 31st 2020, Flash had its last security patch, and as of January 12 2021, Flash content is blocked from all browsers and the Flash Player. However, as of February 2nd 2021, its successor, Scratch Lab, has been released. You can try it out either here or here.

Scratch Lab's homepage displays a 404
This is not a bug. Scratch Lab currently has no homepage at the moment as the website was only released recently. There may, however, be a homepage in a future update.

Yes, its exceeding the file size, I would suggest cutting it into small chunks and backpack it that way

Some time yesterday i opened one of my friends projects and her sprite was REALLY messed up. I reloaded the page and it was still the same .I Remixed her project 2 days ago and yesterday the sprite was also messed up. I don't want this happening again so can you please fix it. I do not want to risk crashing scratch and having to reload the website
