Converting Scratch to an Application
Scratch is great for people who like to share with the community and begin coding with ease, but when it comes to coding with Eclipse, it may take a long time to make an application. So my suggestion is that Scratch should try to create a program, or collaborate with someone else to create a
Scratch -> Application converter. I tried BYOB, but is is Scratch 1.4 and seems is a real pain to use. I am not talking about something like BYOB where you actually create the application yourself, but a program that converts Scratch to a .app file. XCode support will be great too.
My second idea is “Scratch Dev” for early developers interested in more complex languages like Java or Python and would like to start it using Scratch. A few tutorial videos and plenty of interactive tools will be great. Whenever I stumble into great games with great graphics (or animations), I really wanted to be able to convert the whole project into an application (or .mp3 file) so that you can take it anywhere you want. Scratch should start to focus on coding ‘for the future’ and work on a small beta version of a new program within Scratch and see how the community likes it.
Thank you for reading this and please respond if you have anything to add on to this (and I am expecting quadrillions of people telling me something disproving or give a reason to end this whole idea.

Converting Scratch to an Application
Scratch was never intended to be an advanced programming language. The Scratch Editor is supposed to be simple, so that beginners can easily approach it, not an IDE for professional programmers to develop and publish software. Scratch's primary purpose is to teach people programming basics so that they may move on to mainstream programming languages and tools.
