Don't forget some parts were also made in gomotion.One thing I noticed was that some parts were at the low, “stopmotion” framerate, and other parts were a lot smoother (esp. the parts with the pirate dude) I wonder why…?From what I saw in the credit, some parts were stopmotion, and other part had a bit of a computer enhancement. I guess some parts couldn't be done using pure stopmotion?
Anyway, it was a pretty good movie.

Personally I didn't like the movie, the jokes were not very funny at all. I feel like the movie was aimed towards younger audiences.I'd rate it a 1.5/5

I feel like the movie was aimed towards younger audiences.I'd rate it a 1.5/5Well, naturally it was aimed for the younger viewers, but I like a good kid movie that doesn't have the massive amounts of crude humor most shows have nowadays.

Actually, only lego skeletons can move their arms out, yet Emmet and others did it in short parts that I noticed.I saw it on its opening day…I find it hard to believe it's even animated (even though I know it is).
It just might be one of the best CGI animated films ever made, in my opinion.
It just looks so life-like it could very well be stop-motion.
I TOTALLY agree. It was such a great movie.

yeah I noticed that too, but they probably didn't want their main characters stiff and that would affect many parts in the movieActually, only lego skeletons can move their arms out, yet Emmet and others did it in short parts that I noticed.I saw it on its opening day…I find it hard to believe it's even animated (even though I know it is).

You can actually take the arms out, it's just harder to do than taking off the head. They're a pain to get back in though.Actually, only lego skeletons can move their arms out, yet Emmet and others did it in short parts that I noticed.I saw it on its opening day…I find it hard to believe it's even animated (even though I know it is).

My way to do it is to put a hat/hair on the minifig then lift the arm upwards and try to push it past the hair.

i saw the LEGO movie!!!! it was funny!!! my favorite character would have to be wild style or Lucy!!!! the song gets on my nerves though, i can never get it out of my head!!! “everything is awesome!!! everything is cool when your part of a team!!!!”.
