They're becoming self-aware…by the way, I don't even know what half of those concepts are.r/iamverysmart?Should be easy enough. I will probably understand it once I get there.Wait till you get to matrices, derivatives, integrals, proofs, vectors, logarithms, infinite sums, limits etc.Numbers, shapes, tape diagrams, fractions, patterns, they are all easy.REAL Math is not numbers, you're thinking of arithmetic (which I dislike by the way).To me it isn't. Ok yeah arithmetic is a field of mathematics, but it's not pure mathematics in the traditional sense

welcome to the Brag About How Good At Math You Are topic
Also arithmetic is just as good(?) as other fields of math, I mean it's the only one that everyone uses in real life… rip
anecdote time
Once upon a time, some kids in my Geometry class gave our teacher a proof for her birthday
Now what I mean is that they got a giant piece of orange paper; had everyone else in the class sign sticky notes; put the sticky notes in a T shape on the paper; and proved that our teacher is awesome. Oh, they worked on it secretly in the bathroom, too.

What did zero say to eight?
Nice belt.
Why was the Canadian Hexadecimal 6 scared of the Canadian Hexadecimal 7
Because 7 8 9 A
There's 10 types of people in this world
Those who understand binary, those who don't and those who didn't expect this to be a ternary joke

alright let me try a real math joke
There's 10 types of people in this world
Those who understand binary, those who don't, those who thought this would be a binary joke, those who thought this would be a ternary joke, those who thought this would be a quaternary joke, those who thought this would be a quinary joke, those who thought that I would keep going up a base each time I stated a new type of person, those who thought this wouldn't be decimal, those who thought I was going up to hexademical and those who understand decimal

Let's see… Find the nth term of this sequence:
2, 30, 102, 236, 450
Dividing each term by its n yields the sequence 2, 15, 34, 59, 90.
The differences between the terms in that sequence are 13, 19, 25, 31.
That is an arithmetic sequence with common difference of 6.
A_1 = 2
A_2 = 30
A_n = {[(A_(n-1) / (n-1)) - (A_(n-2) / (n-2))] + 6 + (A_(n-1) / (n-1))} * n
= [(A_(n-1) / (n-1)) - (A_(n-2) / (n-2)) + (A_(n-1) / (n-1)) + 6] * n
= (2 * (A_(n-1) / (n-1)) - (A_(n-2) / (n-2)) + 6) * n
Dear god, all those parentheses…
I probably messed up somewhere. My brain hurts.
Why did I spend 20 minutes of my life on this

The worst part of that is that you posted this on a math jokes thread. Nobody will believe your answer.Let's see… Find the nth term of this sequence:

Why did I spend 20 minutes of my life on this
Sequence: 2, 30, 102, 236, 450
Gaps: 28, 72, 134, 214
Gaps of Gaps: 44, 62, 80
Gaps of Gaps of Gaps: 18, 18
Since the Gaps are 3 deep, it must be n^3 so we do 18/6 to get 3n^3
3n^3 = 3, 24, 81, 192, 375
Sequence 2 (Sequence - 3n^3): -1, 6, 21, 44, 75
Gaps: 7, 15, 23, 31
Gaps of Gaps, 8, 8, 8
Since the Gaps are 2 deep, it must be n^2 so we do 8/2 to get 4n^2
4n^2 = 4, 16, 36, 64, 100
Sequence 3 (Sequence 2 - 4n^2): -5, -10, -15, -20, -25
Gaps: -5, -5, -5, -5
Since the gaps are 1 deep it must be n so we get -5n
Stick them all together to get 3n^3 + 4n^2 - 5n

Even though this is the math jokes topic, I have a geometry theory that states that 2-dimensional objects (and lower) are actually non-existent.
If my theory was proven true, your mind (if it really is 2-dimensional) wouldn't exist. -there was too much here-
Too much for my 2-dimensional mind to comprehend.

Just thought I'd let you know that you spelled my username wrong. (It's fine though; many people usually do it.) Math jokes are fun, you can waste your time and if your parents ask you if you're wasting your time, you can just say “I'm doing math.”
Post whatever math jokes here other than
- the ones everyone knows/the ones that hardly count as math jokes (ex. why is 6 afraid of 7)
- ones that are inappropriate for Scratch
To sum everything up, just add your jokes here. Make sure they're totally radical! courtesy of dual_creater43
Although you're the first person who made an error that wasn't using the word “duel” instead of “dual.”
