Gone would be the days of slow and buggy pen text engines (except @-Rex-'s PTE, PTE Ultra, PTE+, ect. those are great)

Support!!

Also, why do you have a return statement at the end of your script?

I want the answer

I did a lot of C and C++ for the past few months and I just somehow included the return block.

We're getting a bit out of topic here.

i support this fully, as it will be much more simple than say, adding around 150 costume to a sprite just to make some text.
although it would be great if the user could change the font.

(except @-Rex-'s PTE, PTE Ultra, PTE+, ect. those are great)

Those can't even render three paragraphs of text without grinding the project to a halt.

Hyped for MS-DOS 11.0

It's a cool idea , with that block, we would see if the script works, but you can also make this little program below :

when green flag clicked
if <the program works> then
say(it works!)
end

from scratch import Imagine, program, share
scratch = Imagine()
project = program(scratch)
share(project)

Support! PTEs are confusing so I would like to have an official block! also a question, would this be in the pen extension or its own extension?

Support. This will allow people to make bigger projects as the blocks required for a PTE can use a lot of the space.

Nothing here.

Semi support. It would be nice and convenient, but some people like @-rex- would find that their projects are pointless, similar to how the Google translate extension made translators pointless.

when green flag clicked
forever
imagine::motion
program::sound
give up on fixing bugs and never share it::operators
end
too relatable

That is true. PTEs would still be needed for custom fonts.

Support. The lack of a pen text feature is extremely annoying to me, especially since JavaScript has this built-in already.

I'm talking about the canvas filltext function.
