My school blocks searches for ‘blackberry’ (including the fruit), thinking I'm searching for a chat site. They also block searches for ‘games’ (including ‘building games in Python’).

The PCs' screens are too bright and the brightness control is blocked.

I'd rather use Windows 95 on a Nintendo DS than my school's PCs.

my school blocked youtube for a whole 3 months once
YouTube is always blocked at my school.

tip: if your school blocks an innocent search term (like snake) then if you add a random “x” in the middle of the word when searching it should not be blocked and will display the same results as the normal search

I don't see why anyone would buy a laptop that can only be used to browse the Web.

my guess is that if they buy chromebooks they get a bigger discount on them or on google services (like drive).

they're easy to monitor and restrict since every computer is connected to an account and google won't even let you use one (with all features, i guess) without creating an account

Is my school one of the only few that don't require students to return their computers over the summer? My school's policy is only return them if you're going to a private school or some other school that's not in the school district.

Actually, my school is doing that as well. We didn't even have to return our lockers; only the seniors gave back their lockers and Chromebooks.

(did this make a new page?)
My school chromebook has the Chrome browser. It may be one of the few school chromes that uses SecURLy instead of Go Guardian. It blocks everything fun, such as Fandom (wah boo hoo no more squishmallows wiki and bendy wiki), YT, and a lot more fun.
Every teacher in the school but mine: Do what you want on ur chromeboook have funs put stickers yay yay
My teacher: YOU CAN'T VISIT A SITE UNLESS IT HAS .EDU!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!1 NO PUT STICKER ON CHROME UR PARENT(S) SIGNED A CONTRACT!!!!!1!!!!!! NO CHANGING UR WALLPAPER!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!! NO WIKIPEDIA IT NOT RELIABLE!!!!!!!1!!!!!!1 FUN IS NOT ALLOWED!!!!!1!!!!!1
My school laptop gets hot fast, lags and glitches. They let us keep over the summer unless you're leaving 5th grade togo to middle school (I live in the US).

Perfect. Time to search ‘scrxatch” and use scratch 3.0 instead of 1.4 at school (jk at my school we don’t even get to use 1.4. If we use scratch we use 3.0)

Every laptop brought into my school has to run Windows.

The ordering terminals in the canteen run Windows 98.

Well, I still find it really stupid that they blocked this EDUCATION site that I liked for geography.
