I support this very strongly. You see, until transparent fills and colors are implemented, I can't make this game I've been trying to make!

Currently, I am pretty sure there is no vector transparency support apart from gradients. Not even importing a transparent SVG (Vector) file worked for me! But, just like craZcat, I need vector transparency in order to make the main character for a new game! Basically, I SUPPORT!

If you're using inkscape, here's how to change the opacity in a way that will work when imported to scratch. Use the slider indicated below to change the opacity only. It should import into scratch fine as svg.
