Pyonkee - Scratch 1.4 on iPad

Ah, cool - happy birthday, Pyonkee!

“- Increased max memory limit for loading a larger project” – so you can open larger projects now? That's nice!

I haven't used Pyonkee that extensively, so - did it crash when you tried to open big projects before?

That way Scratch is running on a remote server and you need internet.

Pyonkee - Scratch 1.4 on iPad

is there any chance of there being a pyonkee for scratch 2.0 anytime soon?

when green flag clicked
say [Time to make you Mesmerized by my awesomeness]
forever
if <[nar05's awesomeness v] = [∞ v]>
set [Your Face v] to [Mesmerized]
set [nar05's awesomeness] to [too much to bear]
say [ I have a lot of awesomeness. Time for some more]
set [nar05's awesomeness v] to ((∞) * (∞) * (∞))
set [your Face v] to [crumbling because of nar05's awesomeness]
say [time to add that to nar05's traits]
add (nar05's awesomeness) to [nar05's traits v]
set [Walk away how?] to (in style v)
say (join [Walk away ] (Walk away how?)
{explode everyone with nar05's awesomeness}

Proof that Obama is a chicken
Chickens have heads. Tigers have heads. Tigers are like lions. Lions have manes. Main Street is a place in Disneyland. Mickey Mouse is the major mascot for Disney. Mickey mouse has big ears. Elephants have big ears. Elephants live in Africa. Africa is a continent. Asia is a continent. China is in Asia. The Great Wall Of China is in China. Walls can be made out of stone. Stone can be found in caves. Caves can be found in Minecraft. Minecraft is developed by Mojang. Mojang was recently bought by Microsoft. Bill Gates created Microsoft. He never went to college. MIT is a college. MIT is in Massachusetts. Massachusetts is a state. There are 50 states in the United States. Barack Obama is the president of the United States. THEREFORE, Barack Obama is a chicken in disguise.

No, as it runs on flash, however scratch 3.0 will support mobile.

This is probably a stupid question, but does it work on normal iPhones?

It's possible. But you need to modify the source code and rebuild it. And the UI/UX of Pyonkee (Scratch 1.4) is designed for PC. So it's very difficult to use on the small screen of smart phone.

Wow, that means, that scratch on Iphone is possible in principle? I would be very interest! First, because my Ipad is very old and slow (Year 2012), second because I like to experiment with the Iphone sensors. Althouge the screen of Iphone may be too small to develop, I could run Projects developed on Iphone.

Dear Scratch 3.0 users on iPad,
Do you know?
  • Pyonkee does not require internet connection.
  • Pyonkee can use many sensors without extension.
  • You can save your project on your iPad without Scratch account.
  • Scratch 3.0 can open projects of Pyonkee with no modification.

Pyonkee runs on a Mac mini (M1, 2020) and macOS Big Sur 11.0.1, but there are some issues with redrawing, sound, etc. Please use at your own risk.

that's impressive! im out of the loop, can macos run iOS apps now?

disclaimer: sometimes my posts are pretty critical of the scratch team (especially my older ones), but i really do scratch & scratch team. jvvg made a short essay thing about the scratch team, which is a pretty good read, if you want a different perspective for the scratch team's actions.
