Writing- Beta Reading

Hello!
So I'm in middle of writing my first novel, and I'm looking for beta readers
For those of you who don't know, beta readers read books that are still in the works to give feedback on the plot, characters, etc.

I'm writing a dystopian novel. The basic plot is a president loses the election, but he refuses to give up the position and instead turns the U.S into a dictatorship. The son of the president elect forms a rebel group, and they try to overthrow the president/dictatorship.

If you're interested in beta reading (it will probably be a few months before I send it out), just leave a reply on this thread.

And feel free to post your own beta reader requests here.

Hi there! Just your average bookworm!

Did you know Hera and Zeus (Goddess of Marriage and God of the sky respectively) are siblings? AND they are married?!

Ok, that was unnecessary information..

Man, I seriously need help with this- The Battle of The two worlds

Like I said, it will probably be a few months, because I'm only about a quarter of the way through my zero draft, sooo.

Here's a zero draft if you want to look at it.
It's not complete yet, so I'll post more parts as I write them.
I have not edited, etc at all, so if you want a more complete version, I'll post the link when i get there

I need an idea.
So a scene in my book is the protag joins a rebel group. How would the rebel group know that new members are really on their side? The only idea I could think of would be new members are not brought to the real hideout, let in on the real plans, etc (but their not told that)..
After few months of them being trustworthy, they are brought to the real group.
Or is the reality of rebel groups that there might be a double crosser involved?

Lol. Is your book at all based on *aHEm* current events?

Ya know, sometimes, you just need to write those cringey fanfictions. Just do it. Write the overly fluffy, cheesy 2,000 word story where you fall in love with your fictional crush, move to North Carolina, and adopt seven children. Then bury it. Put it in a hole, cover it with dirt, and pray your family doesn't find it. UwU

Definitely not

A drop of background on the idea for this book. In english class, we had to read a recent editorial, pick a point/topic it covered, and write a short story based on that point. Soooo, I did one about sore losing. The story did't really end, it was just, like, a rebel group was forming. So I just continued the story and beefed up parts of it to make a novel. Yeh, that's why it's based on current events.
