You know what also could be used for ***? Black rectangles. Rectangles of any color. Any geometry. Because it could be used for something bad doesn't mean it's bad. It can easily be used for ### scenes.

You could use this for home scenes. I like to have a play button with the game in the background, but blurred so there is more focus on the buttons in the menu.

Huh, no support.
It is just a more effective version of the pixelate effect, so I see no reason why this should be added when there is a simple workaround.

No, they are different. Blur doesn't pixelate anything, it makes it fuzzy looking. Huh, no support.

??? If it was going to be used for that, A. the project would be removed, B. the original costume without any filters would be shown, and C. I don't think anyone would do that. It can easily be used for ### scenes.

Blur effect I think would be amazing and can make some project more cinematic. It is finally better than just go on photoshop and make the image file blurred which it takes some time.
Now here comes the cons.
I think performance-wise, it might be bit laggy. From what I heard from Scratch Wiki, they actually used to have it and remove it due to it being glitchy
I will be an Optimus and say that I support it and hope Scratch Team will make it less buggy.

“These were removed from Scratch because they were glitchy and the Scratch Team deemed them unimportant.”
