if you have unlocked Nooks Cranny (you do not need the upgrade) maybe try to get turnips and then sell for a higher price (make sure to write the price down the price)

I actually have the Tom Nook, Resetti, and Mable amiibo.
Tom Nook has a dialogue that says something like “Hello, hello. No need to page with the amiibo; I'M RIGHT HERE”
Resetti is unable to show up on the screen (sad days amirite)
Mable shows up but it says to go to able sisters
Ultimately useless but I have cool figurines now.
