A way to filter messages! (300+ supporters)
If you do not care about the studio's activity, you do not care about the studio.I care about the studio's, but I don't always need to check them by getting a notification EVERY DAY that there is activity in a studio that you know is every day activePerhaps don't be curators in studios you don't care about then? There is a need for this because when you get TONS of messages they will mostly be studio activity, when there is different activity we might not notice, so there is a need for this i don't see the need for this. there is already a filter list in our messages.
edit: whoops just realized no one has commented here for years
There are times I need to go to the studio, but I don't need to know every time it has activity

I could really use something like this, as I am in a lot of active studios and get messages from those studios every single day.
Personally, I would set the filter up like this:
( ) someone loves my project
(√) someone favorites my project
(√) someone posts a comment on my project
(√) someone posts a comment on my profile
(√) someone remixes my project
(√) someone invites me to curate a studio
( ) there is new activity in a studio I curate/follow
(√) there is a new post on a discussion I follow (forum)
(√) someone follows me
Because I have nothing going on in my Scratch life ;v;

I'm in a really active RP studio that gets hundreds and hundreds of comments every day. I check this studio every day and RP in it about three gazillion times per day. It's already in my “check-all-the-time” list, and I know it's always active ~ I seriously may have a problem. But since I know this studio gets hundreds of comments per day, and I'm usually 100 of those comments, do I really need to get a “There was activity in _________” message every single day? It clutters up my messagebox and is frankly just very annoying to have.

I have an idea: it could be in the account settings! Just an idea where it could be. The default could be the current stuff.

I am on iPad and i have this happening. I can’t have multiple filters at once and they don’t save. I just want to know about my projects and my studio

How do you have this happening? This isn't a feature, just something quite a few people want to be one. I am on iPad and i have this happening. I can’t have multiple filters at once and they don’t save. I just want to know about my projects and my studio

I like this idea. I think that is is more convenient to just type in what you want to see in your messages rather than digging through loves and favorites. However, Scratch already has a system like this.

Sort of, but you can only use it for one, and whenever I switch it to one it says my previous messages are all new. I like this idea. In your messages, in the top right, you can filter the results to just 1 type of message, i.e. comments or forums. It does? I like this idea. I think that is is more convenient to just type in what you want to see in your messages rather than digging through loves and favorites. However, Scratch already has a system like this.
However, this is not the system we are suggesting. In our system, you can go into account settings and check boxes to change what notifications you get, not the messages themselves.

The current system focuses on bigger sections, e.g. “forum activity” or “comments”, but not in specific detail like this topic suggests. Either way, the idea stated here would be much more convenient for sure.

Yes, but I want see when I am invited to studio's too, so I need to have the studio part on but don't want to flooded with studio activity

It is one single message around every 24 hours - how is it annoying? It clutters up my messagebox and is frankly just very annoying to have.
