Too many notifications are irritating, and it’s useful to be able to control what notifications you get, plain and simple.

I totally agree!!! maybe we should let people also choose which studios they turn notifications on/off for. also, you get a message when someone promotes you in a studio or replies to a comment you posted in a project, studio, or user profile.
