If you guys are interested in diving into the politics and background of where Hong Kong currently lies, I suggest you watch this nifty video from Vox here. Much of it is covering the protests that have been happening the last year (and allegedly spilling over to Scratch), but it covers some of the history of why it's so highly autonomous.

my dad somehow got the v2ray client working on my phone so now even tho my computer decided to die again I can still talk and stuff.

The proportion is small when you compare with China. Or they didn't put it in their textbooks. The leader most probably don't know about it, or just don't care.
