Source?

The ECMA Committee has stewardship over the language, but really, if all of the browsers and Node add something, it becomes pretty much standard. Oracle isn't really anywhere in the picture.
Why do you keep arguing? This isn't even on-topic. I don't really care who the owner/publisher/WHATEVER of JS is.

Mostly because I don't like incorrect information

Anyways, I guess we're all corrected now

Neither do I, but this thread is really just for applications and other stuff not on Trello, Discord, Gitter, etc.

And yes we are.

What a 90th post!

Cool! Great Application! So would you want to do backend programming?
Well I don't really have the choice, the only issue is that I can't do node.js, I saw some basics but I never tried them, if there is HTML/CSS/JS (or PHP) backend tasks then I'll try to do them, there is a GitHub repo for everything I suppose?

Hey there! Thanks for applying. However you sort of need to know Node.js for the backend. But your work is really good! Would you be interested in learning Node.js? Or helping translate, or helping with the site manager app? Let me know
I can translate to french, and I think I'll learn Node.js, so that I can help you. What fo you mean with the site manager app?
So - If you are fine learning Node are you interested in the backend coder job? (and yep, everything is a Github repro

The site manager app isn't really a choice as Visual Basic is hard to share as a group.
Me and @coke11 are working on it.
Forgot, sorry.

I know I'm not exactly a wiki admin or anything,

but I would recommend that we should begin to give an option for the application of wiki editors and writers . This would help us gain team members who have skillsets in these areas, as they may otherwise be turned off by the heavy focus on programmers and translators.

This could easily be added to the front page, along with a link to the dragondrop wiki
Don't understand what you are saying…

makethebrainhappy wrote:

-Decides to Snip by not quoting-

@Austinato

On scratch each language has a seperate wiki. Each wiki has different editors based on the language.

Wikipedia uses a system where each page has multiple forms based on the language.

The names are usually different depending on the language anyway, so an abbreviation may not be necessary (like DE).

On our wiki we could have a little snippet on the bottom showing different languages, to keep it all on one wiki.

If you want an abbreviation for German Dach is good, but DE is shorter and works just as well .

2.) Yeah, we would have an application form for wiki editors.
1) I would prefer to have different wikis for each language
2) Anyone can help

Hm… I think we should sort of have it like the Scratch wiki. What do others think?

Looking at the trello board, I notice that some sites have been created with DragonDrop?

Yeah! Be sure to inculed links to them

I have to say it needs to be more explicit on what each of the Img elements are. As an end user I had a lot of trouble figuring out what to do with the pictures that were at the bottom….I will try and fix the other stuff on it and make it a bit better….
Thanks for the feedback!
From here on, I will only be quoting bigger things. I am going to continue quoting in another post

I don't want to offend anybody here, but how is this better than, say, Wix, with the exception of the Scratch project embedder which anybody can insert since there is an embed button under every Scratch project.

I might make my own CMS one day, but I'd prefer to work alone on it (with the exception of random people making PRs) so that I can abandon the project if I get too much school work.

It has been very fun working with everybody here on this project, and I might still make Pull Requests.

If you haven't already, might I recommend making a translation JSON file that stores all phrases you need as object that stores key value pairs <LANGUAGECODE> <LANGUAGETRANSLATION> like so:

[ {
                       "ru": "я устал",
                       "fr": "je suis fatigue",
                       "en": "I am tired"
},
{
                       "ru": "Russian translation",
                       "fr": "French translaton",
                       "en": "Other phrase"
}
]
Once you've parsed the JSON, then in Node.js you can do:
respose.write( translations[1][langMode] );
Or something similar.

So thanks so much everybody!

-jokeookservice1
There are many advantages over Wix, such as making it look better, no ads, cheaper, great team, open source, more features, etc.

Also thanks! It was great working with you . If you ever make your own CMS, let me know. I would be interested in seeing it!

Dear DragonDrop Team,

Sorry for the inactivity of me and Coke recently. Coke has been at School, and I have been busy. Hopefully progress should resume soon but for now it seems everything is on halt. Feel free to carry on with Pull Requests etc on github and talking on Trello but most main development will slow due to Coke being inactive. Like the Earth needs the sun for Earth's lifespan to continue, DragonDrop needs Coke for it's lifespan to continue. I am dearly sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused to some team members. We will sort something out and get this going again soon. I thank you for your patience.
