How fast do you type?

I can type 100 wpm on a bad race, but 110 - 120 wpm on good races. My highest ever is 149 wpm.

According to typingtest I'm around 47 WPM but I type with my index only.

I know I just said 51 wpm, but I took the qualifying typing speed test as a guest racer, not my account, and I got 64 wpm. but that's probably because it is easier to memorize the muscle movement for this one sentence: “By typing this text you are setting your qualifying typing speed.” With conventional races on Nitrotype, the text differs every race based on the average wpm of your last 10 races. By the way on nitrotype I am either level 20 or 21.

School doesn't teach you to type fast enough. My maximum is 85-90, but I usually go 70-75 when normally typing. I write fanfiction a lot, and that helps. But, I type with two fingers since they didn't teach me the “proper” way to type until third grade. Really, first grade would be the best time to teach that.

I type at 52 words per minute. I'm even worse when it comes to texting. It's probably like, 20 words per minute on a phone.

The fastest I've ever typed is probably a little bit over 100wpm, but I usually type around 60 to 70wpm when it comes to everyday coding, writing, etc.
