Why do they break scratch?
Typing “%15” in the search bar and copying the character that shows and pasting it in the label section of the custom block will result in a red hacked block.
If you type in “%” in the label section, all the blocks will be bunched up together. Also, if you type “%n” in the label section, clicking the button that adds a boolean input already breaks scratch. Then, if you type “d%n” in a new label section, 2 things happen:
The label is on the top right corner of the screen, and pressing “OK” will crash scratch.

Also, this has nothing to do with cloud variables.

You are a New Scratcher. New Scratchers cannot create cloud variables. You have to wait to become a Scratcher in order to use cloud variables

Test how good your computer is at doing math. 3DS and Wii U online after shutdown.

I've noticed that cloud data have been working a little “better” in the last few days. I say it in quotes because well….. They still have the same issue where you need to wait 5+ minutes for it to load on some other cloud data projects using it.

With that said, I “THINK” it is some sort of cloud data server overload going on here. I'm unsure where the overloading would be being processed though.
But if there ever comes a "real' fix for this issue, it would help a lot of Scratch projects requiring it.

Chatrooms are not allowed and can get you banned.
Cease working on it if it's supposed to be a chatroom, Scratch won't moderate it and ban you instead, although from the title it does appear to be a chatroom;

I have a project that is a cloud poll that updates three cloud variables, but for some reason the data is reset after returning to the project. So when multiple people vote the data does not increase even though it is reported in the data log. The data only saves if I am inside the project currently and I save it manually. Does anybody know a way to fix it?

Cloudvars don't update when initially loading the page. They only update realtime whenever they change. You can see the WR change in front of your eyes, reload, and it's back down.
