My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 91.0.4472.114, No Flash versions detected

Before you post, yeah, i know this was posted before, but scratch team just ignored it.

I just tried to save several times a project and its not working. The project size is 456 KB. i tried to download it and replace the project by the download but its not working. Please fix it, this bug its happening to me since the 2020 and still not fixed.

What happens when you try to save the project? Are you getting a “Project can not save” error, or is something else happening?

In that case, please upload your project to GoFile so I can take a look at it (due to the small size, I believe I know what's happening here…)

Did you have a solid internet connection? That's the first thing that comes to my mind, however, if your project didn't download to your computer than it could have something to do with your device. I'm going to check if you need internet to download something.

yet another edit, the link doesn't work. Remove the plus signs inbetween the words then that should be the right thing.

I don't believe that's what OP meant - I believe that when they said “i tried to download it and replace the project by the download but its not working”, they meant that they tried upload the downloaded project, which also wouldn't save online.

Anyways, @Maltion, I noticed you haven't responded to this topic in a while. Please upload your project to GoFile so I can take a look at it.

As you have downloaded it, just make sure that no assets that are there in the project (sounds or costumes) which are greater than 10MB in size.

Once the page has loaded, the project stays in system memory, so once the page (editor or project page) has loaded, you can download the project even if you aren't connected to the internet. This is why the download URL says from: blob which is a type of RAW storage in browsers.

If you have “\b” or “\n” in your project, the project won't save.
