• We are going to have a newsletter. In your post, please include whether or not your shop would like to recieve this newsletter. This newsletter contains new information from the USS, and tidbits on what the USS does, and includes a featured shop article. Your shop can get it weekly, or you can get a summary every month.
  
• The USS needs a new banner! The old one looks a bit bland, and so we're changing it. If you want to help, you can submit your banner before March 31st. To qualify, you'll need a main banner, an activity check banner, and a monthly newsletter banner. These can all be the same with small text clarifying what it is, or they can be very different. If you're looking for a color, you can use this, or this. The person(s) who's banner is used will get their (group) name(s) somewhere on all posts that use their banner.
  
• We are creating a shop directory including a lot of information on the shop, including a description, their owner, keywords, and much more. If you have information you would like included, or if something isn't accurate (like the owner), please let us know in your reply.

• If your shop would like to opt-in to our new upcoming monthly newsletter, please let us know by posting in our thread (ideally as part of your shop's activity check response.) Our weekly newsletter, currently being written mainly by USS Head Moderator MClovers, will inform our shops of recent updates and news related to the USS, as well as inform shops of services that the USS has to offer and possibly highlight a special shop of the month. It's a handy glimpse into what the USS has been doing for the past month.
  
• The USS is currently conducting a banner/art contest! Please refer to this post for more information. Submissions are due no later than Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
  
• We are working on creating a shop directory, which will serve as a handy guide for customers to pick the right shop for their needs. We will be organizing shops into categories based off their specialties, so please tell us on our topic (ideally as part of your shop's activity check response) of which categories you would like your shop to be added to.
