Proposition #12 - Extension of the “Judge Position”
During thirty day probationary period, if three or more shops still oppose a law proposition or law itself and have stated this clearly the Judges may vote among themselves about the proposition. Judges may place their vote during a seven day period.

Proposition #13 - Hierarchy revamp
Section I
I propose that a new position be included in the hierarchy: President, and that the “owner” position be renamed to “Mediator”
Section II
A President would have the power to “veto” law propositions, however if over half the Judges approved the proposition within a seven day period of said veto
Section III
A Mediator would basically be a more authoritative moderator, except they would officially post propositions and edit the FP
Section IV
A President would be elected by popular vote, though a more elaborate process may be added if the USS gets very large.

So this proposition makes proposals approved by judges instead? I'm a bit neutral on this, because law propositions is one of the few aspects done directly by the USS members.

I: Neutral.
II: Perhaps reword to “the President can veto if there is less than 1-4 supporters from the justices, but not 5 or more.”,
III: Would that mean mediators are nearly dictators over the President?
IV: Agreed, just as long as elections aren't too often (they might become distracting and hog up what posts are about around the time.)

1)Me and Austinato are renamed to to co-managers rather than co-owners tho prevent it sounding like a dictatorship

2) In the event of Austinato going inactive (temporarily or permanently) co-manager (me) should make a new (permanent or temporary) thread. In the event of both of us going inactive (temporarily or permenantly) Secretary (QuantumSingularity) should do this this can continue down ranks.
If Austinato or Monkeytrooper return the thread will be moved back to here. Any important posts on the temporary will be reposted here.

Oppose. Laws sound more formal and I don't think temporary or permanent threads are necessary unless for emergency reasons.

They would be in the case of an emergency. The main reason TSF fell apart was because of leadership inactivity and not being able to edit an FP

I feel it should be revised to this:

Law Proposals
1) The position of owners and co-owners shall be renamed to managers and co-managers to prevent confusion with a dictatorship.
2) There shall be a four month-long term for a new position named the President, in which the President is able to lead and do most of the owner/co-owner (manager/co-manager) actions but not all of them.
3) In the event of the managers going inactive, here shall be the following succession line:
Co-Manager
Secretary
Head Justice

I'm not too sure where we should go beyond this; these become positions with numerous people serving as them.

4) “Law proposals” like this one shall be renamed to “Amendments” or “Rules.”

Yes, but I was thinking a Presidential position, along with expanded checks and balances, would further promote the democracy we suggest with our name.
