Ok- to start things off. Is anyone else doing nano this year? Is it just me?
Do you know about it?
No…
Oh, ok then. Well, nanowrimo is a community that encourages you to write a novel in one month. And not any month- it challenges you in November. If you're under 13, there's the under 13s site, but beware if you're under 13 you cannot user the forums You can have your word count anywhere from 1 to 50000 and that is your target word count for this month of novelling. Also, if you're over 13 you can sign up on the adult website.
You do?
Yay!! That's great. What's your word-count goal? What's your story about? Do you like the new nanowrimo site? (I liked the old one, though the new one is pretty cool as well.)
Ok… Anyway, here's some info about my novel.
Name: TwoWorlde: The first Chapter
Short 150 character summary(that's all you're allowed to type on the beta version of the site):
Kite lives in both worlds. Everybody does. She however is different. She lives in one world twice. And somebody- something- wants her because of that.
Genres: Fantasy, adventure, mystery and it's slightly historical.
Word-count: The highest you're allowed to set for yourself- for now- on the site is 50,000, so for now I've gone with that. However, I'm actually aiming for 100000 words. (My novel has 41 chapters)
—————————–
Ok, so I'd love it if we could chat about nano here, if anyone's actually doing it. If you'd like, feel free to fill in the form to tell me more about your story! I'd love to here it!
—————————–
Star
P.S. If you reach your WCD, then your prize is usually a code that you use with a self-publishing service like FastPencil, which will obtain you one copy of your novel. One copy. This makes me ecstatic when I even think about it. SO MOTIVATING!!!

Oof. The novel I'm working on now (so I can finish by November) is going to be massive. I don't have a title yet, since it's more of a collection stories of anywhere from a page to a novel within itself. The book follows many empires as they grow, wage war, experience peace, golden ages, dark ages, and the people within those empires. It's intended to be the most scientifically accurate sci-fi book ever. As the book takes place in many empires and over many generations, the book doesn't follow any specific character.
The book covers many topics and stances on those topic. Things discussed include; war, rights, government structure, validity of a nation, what it means to be human, immigration, religion, where we draw a line in technology, and much more.
The book is often dark, dealing with issues including; tyranny, poverty, death, PTSD, mental illness, inequality, and many more.
I just hope that I can get some of the main conflicts done. I have 3 or 4 I want to get done, all being full novel length. I just don't know which to focus on.

Hi! I do nano (just recently joined it) and so does my friend, @Bookyperson11
My book is called the two doors (sounds kinda boring, I must admit) and I've put some on here. I'm doing the challenge and my aim is 10,000 I think.
