I use Photoshop for logos a lot, so I can relate For a while I only used it for drawing too and then I started playing around with the magnet brush tool one day and since I've made countless recolors and spoofs

Also if you're gonna get Photoshop, get this version http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adobe-Photoshop-CS5-Extended-Full-Version-/282114784001?hash=item41af59fb01:g:YZ8AAOSwOVpXaqGO that's the version I have and it works great, it's a bit expensive but at least it's not like 600 or 1000 bucks

Oh ok! There were a TON of mac versions out there and I was like ‘gaah what if this user has windows’ so I put a windows version there, but I'm sure it'll be very easy to find a Mac version!
