Advanced Alpha Games is a new Scratch game development group, aiming to make advanced and fun games.

What makes it stand out from the rest?

At Advanced Alpha Games, we won't make just a single game. We aim to have fun developing games and make sure players have fun too. Many people don't think this way.

Am I free to join?

Advanced Alpha Games is looking for skilled and dedicated individuals. If you are passionate about joining us and want to do the best you can, then please apply!

Why are some of the positions empty but also not accepting?

Those roles are currently deemed unnecessary, however they might open in the future.

When will the development of the first game start?

We will start work on the first game on 11th of April, 2024.

Timeline

22th of February, 2024: Post created.

4th of April, 2024: Preparations on first game have started.

9th of April, 2024: First project has officially began.

GAME IDEA

The game idea is a 2D RPG side view game, with some kind of scrolling.

This post will be extended with ideas and other stuff.

I might not be *that* good at coding, but then I thought maybe I could try composing, which I have some experience with. I thought this could be a great opportunity to improve my skills. I might become a programmer when I think I become good enough.
How active will you be?
I'm usually active daily on Scratch, so I'd probably be checking in pretty often, though junior high is starting soon, which might reduce my free time…
How skilled are you at the position you chose?
This is the scary part… While I might not be the best, I'm still far from the worst.

Songs composed for my Sheep SmasherS series (some of them are pretty bad):
1: Every song
2: Every returning track and the title screen
3: New Song1, Peaceful Beach, Night, and Snowman Dance
4: Title Screen, Final Boss, and every returning track

I usually prefer making chiptune. That's pretty much it.

As a person who is too lazy to think of a good signature, @Sohta_kun is a random guy whose existence is confirmed. Also a self-proclaimed griffpatcher. You can also find him in his dark basement room where you can either see him having an existential crisis or trying to play on his non-backlit GBA, hoping that one day, his eyes will get used to it.
