our hope is that by sticking to a smaller committee of designers, we can build a deeper sense of community among ourselves. to help initiative these bonds, we’re been working on brainstorming some mbc bonding activites - stay tuned for more on these ;D

･ﾟᨒ timeline + tasks

as memory book committee members, it’s your responsibility to contribute to our memory book throughout the session. this can include inputting screenshots (or cabin quotes), gathering data (such as leaders, cos, campers, mlts, and cabin wars), and helping ensure all suggestions follow the provided guidelines. your main task, however, is designing the memory book! please do your best to reflect each cabin in it’s designated pages, and feel free to ask cabin leaders or fellow committee members for feedback – all of you should have received an invite link to the canva (if not please reach out to alana or myself).

this session, to encourage participation throughout the entirety of march, alana and i are planning to set up soft deadlines for portions of the memory book to be completed by. these deadlines are strictly to provide motivation to contribute to the memory book as we move through march, and are not meant to be a cause of stress! if you have any questions about the new deadline system, feel free to contact either me or alana.

if you have any questions about your responsibilities as a committee member or the following schedule, both of us are always willing to help out!

- February 1-7: Theme voting (open to everyone)
- February 4-7: Header + body font suggestions
- February 7-9: Header + body font voting (members only)
- February: Start designing all pages – emphasis on design over data collection
- Late February + early March: Most Likely To’s suggestions
- March: Finish designing all pages – including collected data
- March 7: Release cover contest
- March 18: Release cover voting
- March 22-25: Most Likely To’s Voting
- March 25: Close cover voting
- Post-session: Final touches

･ﾟᨒ the postscript

this session, we’ve decided to bring back the postscript section! for those of you who aren’t familiar with it, last session we added a section called ‘the postscript’ to serve as a session recap. this section would include events happening that are particular to that session, and fun events that occurred! there are eight pages in this recap, each pair having a specific theme it focuses on. the four themes for this session are very close to last sessions: cabin wars, daily team highlights, session-specific events, and a short summary of each cabin.

- cabin wars - this section will be about cabin war statistics in particular, as well as new additions within cabin wars. we’ll need people to collect data on cabins for this section, so if you are interested in helping out, feel free to do so! though anyone - even outside of the mbc - is welcome to help gather stats, as well.
- summary of each cabin - although there is always a list of cabins, and each cabin has their own cabin pages, we don’t really get an immersive description of every cabin’s respective storylines. in this section, each cabin will have a short description/blurb that summarizes the storyline to help future viewers (as well as those who didn’t participate in the session) understand what each of the cabins revolved around.
- daily team highlights - this portion was updated slightly to include all daily team highlights, including fun dailies, weeklies, and other activities! we’d love to include screenshots and reactions, as well as whatever else seems to fit - it’s a flexible area, so we can figure out the specifics as we go <3
- session-specific events - the last bit of the postscript recap will focus on some session-specific events that made it special. perhaps there was a pie revolution, or maybe some fun additions were added to the cabins? the idea of this section is to fully encompass session-specific memories so that they can be remembered in the future.

we’d also like to mention that these sections are still brand new, and we’re always looking for feedback! if you have any questions, suggestions, or thoughts on what to include, feel free to reach out to alana or myself (or put them here in this forum) <3
