alright so some examples i came up with for the lab project are

emperor's dragonfly - iron helmet - sharp spikes, helps the dragonfly deliver a more powerful blow with its battering ram move

harabiro mantis - blades - these sharp blades attach to the ridges on the mantis' legs and make its attacks even more deadly

dead leaf butterfly - invisibility cloak, allows the butterfly to fully disappear for 30 second periods

also, poppy, if you aren't able to release it within the next day or so, i can do that :)

one thing i think we should start thinking about is our third class, and how we are going to introduce the rebel group. i think we had discussed a scavenger hunt on profiles? though its a bit late to ask others on the leading team for their involvement sdfds

alrighty so for our third class i'm thinking that we can have fifteen different insects in a project. then, we'll have writing activities for campers to complete (related to the storyline) and once a certain number of people complete them, we give a clue about which insect it is. the insect is the insect of the leader of the rebel group. i'll create a profile with a username related to the insect, and once they discover who it is, i'll give them a link to the user, where they will have to “battle” me on the project through roleplay. also poppy if you could release the lab project once you get back that would be great!!

Hmm…. maybe they could do a kind of fortunately/unfortunately type of story, but each fortunately/unfortunately has a minimum number of words, and the whole story relates to the storyline in a way?

I've got the Labs project uploaded and ready to go whenever, with only the 1 piece per group added into the slides. Of course, once we get more on there I'll add to them
Should I share it with only 1 piece of equipment for each, or should I wait until we've got more?

Macromantis-
Mantis-High-Tops - Kick using back legs, sending opponent flying up to 30 feet away

Liturgusidae-
Double camo- ability to disguise itself AND one other insect in order to sneak attack

Mantoididae-
All-Direction goggles- pretty straightforward. Ability to see perfectly in all directions for a minute, thus preventing any sneak attacks

Chinese Mantis-
Extra Jetpack - Ability to kick and attack while flying

Devil's Flower Mantis-
Hooked armbands- can be used to hold on to something tighter or to disarm an opponent

Orchid Mantis-
Lingering illusion - ability to be in a place and leave the image of themself there, so it appears that they are in two places at once

European Mantis-

Wing blades- blades, attached to wings, that can shred anything quickly while flying

Is it possible for you two to quickly give me your equipment for your insects? It's fine if you can't, I can just come up with something for you guys, but if you'd like to do your own, then I'll need them so I can get them in the lab project so I can release it for battles- no pressure of course!! ^^
