remove old forum filter

the old filter does more bad than good, basically just censoring damn and crap (which aren't supposed to be censored) without bypasses. with the new filter (despite how annoying it can be) the old filter is redundant.
plus, if a word is just replaced with an asterix, it can be obvious what it is supposed to be.

this topic is a continuation of this topic. that topic was to remove damn and crap from the filter (as this was before the new filter), but this is just to remove that filter entirely.

I do think it would be better to not allow people post swear words at all than to just turn them to an asterisk, and there are other words censored on the forums that should be uncensored (aside from ones on TOLORS).

Currently both the old forum filter that turned words into asterisks and the main site filter are both applied to the forums. This suggestion is to remove the old archaic filter but keep the main site one.

I'm inclined to agree. I think it makes sense to say that the forum filter should be 100% consistent with the rest of the website, but to argue that the filter should be removed just so Scratchers can say some mildly disrespectful/offensive words seems a little sketchy.

Or worse, someone could believe that the asterisk represents something worse than what the original writer intended. So that helps give merit to the proposed suggestion.

Additionally, some image links were broken due to the filter. I had a CubeUpload image which had the file name “yoshi two” (as one word) and it got blocked due to it spelling a bad word when written without a space. Removing the archaic filter would make it so that image link didn't break
