as you say though it is a possibility, even if a small one
if you look at the undertale true pacifist credits though, a lot of areas line up with deltarune, so maybe they are linked

if you want to then go ahead but my days of expploring undertale lore ended like 5 years ago

I wrote a guide awhile back but can't find it, so I'll recap:

First: Your inventory should consist of 1-2 Revivemints, the TopCake (NOT the SpinCake), and 9-10 Darkburgers. Don't rely on food too much (use Ralsei to heal if possible) and only use the TopCake if one party member is 1 tap and the others are down.

Second: If you plan to get the Devilsknife (an axe for Susie), here's the procedure:

-Kris: Attack if over 90% TP, defend otherwise.

Do NOT spare him if you want the Devilsknife. If you want the Jevilstail or don't care what you get, you can use Ralsei's Pacify when the message “Jevil is truly exhausted!” appears. Also remember that Jevil has 3500 HP and goes into second phase and starts to use Chaos Bomb around 1750 HP (50% of max).

If you plan to get the Jevilstail (an armor best suited for Ralsei or Noelle), you can fight him until he is exhausted, which rarely happens, or do this:

-First turn: Defend/Defend/Defend
-Kris: ACT Hypnosis when possible (50% TP), defend otherwise.
-Susie: Defend. Only Susie's turn should be used for items.
-Ralsei: Defend, or use Heal Prayer as necessary.

When you get the status message “Jevil is truly exhausted!”, use Ralsei's Pacify to spare him and obtain the Jevilstail.

Also, when he uses his carousel attack, you have about .75 seconds of i-frames at the start. Use those to go to the bottom-right corner, and go up when necessary.

Woah I’m gonna use this guide if i ever fight him

yeah here it is great

uh oh here it goes

1st try: Kris and Susie got downed and i died. who could have guessed.

2nd try: Ralsei and Kris got downed and Susie was on 4hp, i used the wrong item and died.

4th try: what do i do in his second attack??

6th try: evrything went well and i learned how to dodge his second attack, but the devilsknife just became a problem. i think youre supposed to move in a small square in the corner but idk

7th try: devilsknife killed me again

8th try: learned how to dodge the devilknife!! i also got into phase 2 and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

10th try: Dodging the devilsknife is easy but its not guaranteed you dont get hit, also for some reason the 1st spades attack is only easy to dodge if its actually first

11th try: also my strat for the heart attack is literally just to move around randomly and usually it works

12th try: after the 15th try im gonna buy some weapons and switch to fighting. also ive officially battled him for 1 hour straight now

13th try: i figured out that my battles with him last about 6 minutes on average

15th try: okay time to get weapons

16th try: i got better weapons for everyone but didnt reach phase 2

18th try: okay this isnt really working also i somehow lost my ability to move in a square :skull:

19th try: okay that was the last one for now. I'm gonna say my full strategy becase it might help somebody and alos i might forget it
