True, the UT fandom definitely milked Sans for all of his personality. Also excuse me for saying DT I just realized it was DR-

Now that I think about it, that may be the actual reason why there aren't many popular DR AU's. There's no real main “Oh my god that character was so cool and I never expected it” character in DR, Jevil and Spamton really being the only close characters to that Sans-like feel. I mean, how much can you really milk any character from DR? Definitely not as much as Sans. Maybe we'll get a Sans character in DR, perhaps, tomorrow.

sans is cool and all but there's only so much you can do with one character before it starts feeling stale (well to me at least)

Basically The Other Puppet is a Deltarune AU that swaps Lightners and Darkners with each other, the most notable of these is Spamton swapping with Kris, and Kris takes Spamton's role, which why if you look the AU up, you might notice that Kris looks like a muppet.
