I did my own research and it probably happens due to redshift of light.

i liked the whale things (forgot their name) gravely disappointed it wasnt a movie just about them
a film about humans harvesting alien creatures for resources only to discover they're even more intelligent than they are sounds epic, it's a real shame it's just a subplot. makes me want to write my own sci-fi now…

I would say you should, but it's really not for everyone. It's all about interplanetary politics and the story doesn't follow one main protagonist, some might find this boring (I don't). However, it's still very well written.

When you are placed in space in a complete random places (with a spacesuit). You would see different scenes depending on where you are. But you placed in between galaxies, in completely deep space, there's a very high chance of seeing nothing but complete darkness.
That YouTuber didn't explain why this happens, but I did my own research and found that this can probably happen due to redshift of light.
