a couple of people have added a bunch of unrelated projects to the studio by now, what should I do about it if anything (besides removing the projects)?
they don't usually cause much of a problem but they could risk our studio not being featured or if it is featured then it could get spammed with projects then too

also nobody's got back to me on translations, is anyone still doing them? shall I change it to invite anyone to translate?

also this happened related to the possibility of it being featured, sorry I forgot to mention it earlier https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/7916133/

we still don't know if it'll be featured (or featured in time) but it has higher chances than if nobody saw it

that's… troublesome. do we want to change it to only us being able to add projects??? that might lessen our chances of being featured though, I don't kn ow(i've never gotten featured and I don't check out featured studios)

I'm not sure what you mean, since any curator can add projects. there's no setting to limit which curators add projects (other than removing the curator)

ohhh, I thought you meant it was some random people adding them. uh, do we know who it was? I can check who posted the projects and see if they curate the studio, that might give us a lead

ok the month is almost over and the studio still hasn't been featured.
I have a suspicion it might not be helping that the studio projects tab says “100+” projects even though there's actually less than 100 projects as part of a bug. I've asked about this on the forums and nobody's given a good answer so I'm going to reach out to the Scratch Team on Contact Us. which could help get recognition or guidance on what to do in the future, but it likely take between a few days and a few weeks to get a response, and it might not be a very helpful response, I don't know.
there's only 5 days left of April including today, so do we want to keep waiting till the end of the month in case the Scratch Team does feature us or in case we do get a quick response, which will mean not inviting more people (as the projects count is at 97 which is nearly over the limit) and the studio will stay inactive,
or do we want to invite a load of people which will give the studio the surge in activity which it hasn't had yet before the month is over, so we can properly celebrate, but will disqualify the studio from being featured?

also, is there anything specific you'd like me to say in the Contact Us message? (we can draft it as a collab if anyone wants, otherwise I can do it myself.)

hm. I think we'll probably not have time to get featured, I think it'd be good to go out with a bang. even if we get featured, we'll have like one or two days before April is over, so I don't think it's worth it. also, sorry about the translation not getting done sooner. we might have had a higher chance if I had finished and i'm sorry next year(if y'all will have me) i'll probably just do it myself instead of working with others because it'll be faster

yeah, we should probably start in mid-late febuary so we could propose it earlier in time and have more time with translation and stuff

(ack I had a fire drill while typing this lmao)

starting in mid-late february sounds great, and maybe we should start translations as soon as we get a section of the desc done instead of waiting for the whole desc to be done? that way we have all of march for writing the desc and preparing
