i don't really know. competing standards just make things complicated.. perhaps we can try implementing a fallthrough system, so users on ocular can choose aviate as their preferred status system, so requests to my-ocular would be redirected to aviate? i don't know if your api is compatible enough though. i guess we should wait and see if aviate takes off. I'm not sure how we could do that, do you have any ideas?
also, i really like your status parsing system, it would be really cool if i could port that to my-ocular. would that be alright with you?

disclaimer: sometimes my posts are pretty critical of the scratch team (especially my older ones), but i really do scratch & scratch team. jvvg made a short essay thing about the scratch team, which is a pretty good read, if you want a different perspective for the scratch team's actions.

(#20)Not exactly a bug; it's just because I fetch the data before running the status. I need to work on a better solution.
A bug: even when a status doesn't use ScratchDB or any tags, it throws an error - https://aviateapp.eu.org/api/Chiroyce

- The ATs aren't technical support. It is perfectly valid to ask questions about things related to programming, but not issues with external websites, apps, or devices. Most sites have their own support system; try asking there!

Wouldn't that just make it just like Aviate, though? also, i really like your status parsing system, it would be really cool if i could port that to my-ocular. would that be alright with you?

https://aviateapp.eu.org/api/ChiroyceA bug: even when a status doesn't use ScratchDB or any tags, it throws an error -
I looks like ScratchDB is down, so don't worry if your status says " Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0". I'll try to make a better error message for this.
Edit: done.
Sign on the M18 Motorway warning that horses, horse-drawn vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles are forbidden.
Road signs in the Republic of Ireland do not differ greatly from those used elsewhere in Europe – with the notable exception that hazard or warning signs follow the “New World” style of a yellow diamond. The symbols used on these warning signs do, nevertheless, resemble much more closely those used (on red-bordered white or yellow triangles) in the rest of Europe than many of those seen in the United States.
Typical road signs in rural areas of the Republic of Ireland. Here, a fingerpost with old road number and Bord Fáilte logo. Signpost located in Rathangan, Co. Kildare.
Regulatory signs (relating to limits and prohibitions) differ very little from those used in the rest of Europe.
The system of directional signs is based upon, and is very similar to, that employed in the United Kingdom, but is bilingual everywhere except in the Gaeltacht, where only the Irish language is used on signs.
In Ireland, the highest category of road is a motorway (mótarbhealach, plural: mótarbhealaí), indicated by the prefix M followed by a one- or two-digit number (the number of the national route of which each motorway forms a part). The motorway network consists entirely of motorway-grade dual carriageways and is largely focused upon Dublin. There are also several three-lane motorways, while Ireland's busiest road, the M50, incorporates four-lane, five-lane, and six-lane stretches.

Aviate has 2 new components: {posts forum} and {round a [b]}. With them, you can create cool statuses that show your percentage of posts in a forum:
I have {posts} forum posts, with {round {mul {div {posts at} {posts}} 100} 1}% of them in the ATs.

Well when you become an admin, you have the power to look at every status that a person has set on Aviate.
We can change them as well if they break any rules
