By putting an F note (in channel 4) above a C major chord, or by randomly having a rest in the second measure of the second channel, you're adding surprises. There isn't any changes before the rest to telegraph that it isn't just a one measure loop. By a group of four and two, I meant a group of four beats, OR two groups of two. Sorry!
