I seem to be having this problem too, it's frustrating because I put an hour of work updating my game and all my progress is gone.

the one thing i have noticed for me is that if you upload anything from your files it's guaranteed to disappear when you hop back on. currently the only solution i've found is simply not leaving the project, that way when you share it it cannot delete itself
putting anything in a project, saving, then reloading removes the thing.

I had this GLITCH that wouldn't let me post. It was hidden as the correct thumbnail, but when I select project it literally deleted EVERYTHING! IT IS SO ANNOYING THAT I DID THE SAME PROJECT TWICE JUST TO GET DELETED, MAN I AM TIRED OF THIS.

Same, Im getting the glitch too, fortunately, I was not working on anything too big at the time. Sorry for anyone who lost huge amount of work because of this

jk it's not fixed if I exit the project tab I lose an entire asset

yeah i managed to find it. but it resets all of my scripts and then deletes the sprites and then shows a single scratch cat

I've been affected by this glitch. saved my project, went to my projects page and can see the project and thumbnail, but when i click on the project the code and sprites and everything are gone and set to the default scratch cat.

as -gge pointed out, reloading might do that but it's not just reloading, i saved and left my project for a minute and when i came back it had all disappeared, i guess we're just stuck waiting for a scratch team fix

I was making a vibe check project which was like my FNaF fan game, Henry's FunWorld. I worked on it for like 10 minutes i guess so i don't really think it's much of a problem to me, but i'm still annoyed about how scratch randomly broke, and when i shared my project, i showed it to some people i'm friends with, but… something really strange happened. they said it was like blank, which was true. it was only scratch cat. I hope this gets fixed soon, cause this feels like a serious problem that everyone including me are annoyed about.
