I'm still having this issue but it's just for a sound file. I have a song file already on my computer and when I try to import it to scratch, theres this thing that just pops up saying it can't save my project.

That just sounds like a normal ‘passed the 10mb size limit’ this save glitch doesn't show any errors

Conclusion:

I have concluded that some people may be still having this issue, but the bug is mostly fixed. If you are still having this issue, it maybe be because of the 10mb size limit on sound.

OK i have a few fixes for this glitch!

#1. (most effective) Turn off your wifi then turn it back on, then click try again, then it should save correctly

#2. (newer and more unstable) Switch to a different tab. wait 5 seconds, go back, then click try again, it should save correctly.

One of my projects wasn't saving either. I'm pretty sure it said it was too, but when I refreshed the page, I lost over an hour of work.

Btw, I live in Canada. Another problem I'm having is that the thumbnail doesn't update when I save a project (even when it actually does save).

People seem to think it's a server issue, and I would agree.

Some possible theories:

Too much storage - Maybe the servers can't store anything else?
Server bug - Maybe it's just something weird with the server?

So, I go to bed and there are 2 pages. 10 hours later, there are 13 pages XD
Now there are 21 pages!

Whenever I upload music to a project it sometimes does that. Mabye that's a cause of it.

Hi, thanks for making this thread. These servers bugs come along with a catch: some people, like me, are getting inexplicably IP banned. It seems to be a mistake, as when some people ask the ST, they seem to get unbanned immediately, but this isn’t good.
