In the Announcements, the Scratch Team could announce something such as:
We are fixing a bug!
The block:
(days since 2000)
used to report the days since 2000. Now, it reports the days since 2001!
just not like that

The Question Mark Glitch
Sometimes in the editor, your costumes become gray question marks. If this happens, reload. If this happens, X-out the tab and DO NOT SAVE, EDIT, OR SEE INSIDE or the question mark will be permanent.

maybe only the ST could do that! ST would never spam. After all Scratchers wouldn't say this:

They would probably say it like this

I do like the idea, actually. I think it would additionally be great if you added a note along with it that says something like this:

Sorry, Scratch Blocks are restricted in this forum.

That way, they understand that it's not a glitch.

I also think that Scratch Team members (along with @LiFayTheGoblin, who I'm not sure would count as one) should be able to use Scratch Blocks in Announcements. That's because I've seen multiple announcements that discuss blocks, and the Scratch Blocks would be useful to the Scratch Team.

They're prohibited to anyone else, though.

I still think that this is just ignoring the root cause of the problem.

Idk if it's a good idea to prevent newbies to post in the forums.

I don't know, but Scratchblocks definitely aren't the cause of this problem. Maybe a pop-up explaining the purpose of the forum and telling you to “be constructive” before you write your first post would help?

(Also no one said it was)

I strongly disagree. There some very helpful Scratchers (such as @ResExsention) who are still New Scratchers. (And @ResExsention is planning on keeping it permanent, by the way.)

Imagine the ghost town that the New Scratchers subforum would be if this were added lol

Again, I don't think this would fix anything. There
  • are
many
other features that people could My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Firefox 84.0, Flash 32.0 (release 0) abuse besides Scratchblocks.

Redirecting the problem isn't good enough.
