Stop acting like your opinion makes a difference. It doesn't. Opinions were never the point. The point is whether or not it's a good suggestion. If you can give a good reason at why this is a good idea or point out a flaw, do it, but don't take sides.

Some people(especially newbies to the forums) just spam with Scratchblocks unnecessarily till the point it gets a bit annoying or/and starts lagging.

It's pretty important to have the feature disabled in the Announcements forum as well as the Welcome to Scratch forum, as the topics there get a lot of annoying and laggy blockspam due to getting an influx of users a bit too new to the forums.
